I also received what looked like a cashiers check in the address window (third time!). 800-201-7493 aka same stupid phone number. Im so tired I try and do everything right but the scammers of the world get away with murder.

This same number shows up for a listing "cash 4 gold" ... usually on pawn artist pages. report them to the feds but nothing will happen, the feds are part of the problem since they allow this crap to happen.

Complete scam artists, bottom feeding carp call themselves debt consolidation consultants. Letter arrived with what looked like a cashiers check in the address window. Inside a green "check looking" with "Treasury Department" in the upper left corner, "amount box" with $29,000 and middle line "twenty nine thousand dollars and 00/100" listing my name and "secure approval code" I called the number 800-201-7493 because around 8 months ago I signed onto a service Consumer Union that said they would notify the three credit rating agencies to flag my name and social security so that my credit information will not be used for marketing purposes. https://www.privacyrights.org/how-private-my-credit-report#5 Scumbag said he would not tell me where he got my information and said he would not remove me from their marketing list. Why can't the feds take care of these #@#*&%$# scammers.
